Manny Pacquaio vs Oscar De La Hoya results of the " Dream Match"
Manny Pacquaio defeated Oscar De La hoya after eight rounds of pounding for a TKO. De la Hoyas corner decided to not continue in the 9th round because according to his corner Manny Pacquaio is simply too fast for De La hoya. Between rounds, referee Tony Weeks told De La Hoya, "If you keep taking punches, I'm stopping the fight."
Manny Pacquiao's speed prevailed over De La Hoyas size. The bout was one sided and De la Hoya was on the receiving end of an ass whopping. Lots of boxing critics under estimated Manny Pacqiao. If you look at my previous post below, UFC's Brandon Vera and Roger Huerta made a bet that the loser will wear a chicken suit on a Saturday night and on a busy street corner for an hour. Roger Huerta picked De La Hoya so he gets to wear the chicken suit. Hope the boxing critics who picked De La Hoya gets to do the same.

Nikon Coolpix S210- my camera pick- this is my current camera
The Coolpix S210 is Nikon's slimmest camera to date, so it slips easily into a shirt pocket and very lighweight. But this palm-sized camera also comes loaded with plenty of power and technology to help you capture stunning shots.
why i love it?
I love Nikon
8 megapixels and 3x zoom
you can buy it now for $ 129.99 (mine was $179.99 so its better to wait)
I like the camera because it is available in black. (Comes in 2 colors plum and black.)
It takes great pictures and videos and very user friendly. After unboxing the camera i didnt have to read the manuals to learn the features. I shoot lots of pictures and were able to use the features immediately.
This is the best feautures of S210
Nikon D lighting photo editing feature. When the background is so bright the persons face will be underexpose so u cant see the face it becomes dark due to the bright sun in the background. In the camera you just push a botton and u can brightin up the image so you can see the person.
I wish i had this camera in the begining of summer. i have lots of underexpose image from the beach and stadiums.
But if had know that the S550 (same apperance as the the S210)is available i would have bought it.
This is better because it has 10 megapixels and 5x zoom.
Blink alert. The camera alerts you that somebody blinks and so you can try taking the picture again.
Smile shutter - when you are focusing the person in the shot, it shots when person cracks smile.
I love this camera !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is New York called the Big Apple ?
Ths Big Apple is a nickname for New York City. It was first popularized in the 1920s by John J. Fitz Gerald, a sports writer for the New York Morning Telegraph.By the 1960s, "the Big Apple" was known only as an old name for New York Its popularity since the 1970s is due to a promotional campaign by the New York Convention and Visitors Bureau. Now, NYC & Company, the official marketing and tourism organization for New York City).
John J.Fitz Gerald's (a New York horse racing track writer) first New York Morning Telegraph "Around the Big Apple" column, on February 18, 1924, proudly declared: (in reference to horse racing)
The Big Apple. The dream of every lad that ever threw a leg over a thoroughbred and the goal of all horsemen. There's only one Big Apple. That's New York.
The "Big Apple" racing circuit had meant "the big time," the place where the big money was to be won. Horses love apples, and apples were widely regarded as the mythical king of fruit. In contrast, the smaller, poorer tracks were called the "leaky roof circuit" or "bull ring" tracks.
By the 1930s and '40s, "Big Apple" was mainly associated with the world of jazz. "The Big Apple" became the name of a club in Harlem in 1934, and Harlem itself was referred to as "the Apple" at this time. A club in Columbia, South Carolina also took the "Big Apple" name, and it was here that 1937's short-lived national "Big Apple" dance craze began. (see video below)
By the late 1920s, New York writers other than Fitz Gerald were starting to use "Big Apple" and were using it outside of a horse-racing context.[12] "The Big Apple" was a popular song[13] and dance[14] in the 1930s. Walter Winchell and other writers continued to use the name in the 1940s and 1950s.
In 1997 ,Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani signed legislation designating the southwest corner of West 54th Street and Broadway, the corner on which John J. Fitz Gerald resided from 1934 to 1963, as "Big Apple Corner."
Since 1980, the New York Mets' baseball stadium has featured a top hat that a "Big Apple" rises from when a Mets player hits a home run.

Buy a cheap house: How to buy foreclosed house or homes at auction
I have bought and sold many foreclosures. I started in the 1980's when many fewer people were doing it. The process varies from state to state. In both FL and NC the auctions are held on the courthouse steps, in the county seat. In FL, lets say the home is sold for $100K. If you don't research the title, you may be purchasing a second mtg. You would then be responsible for the first mtg and the second. It is very important to do your homework. Then, you will need 5% down in the form of cash or a chashiers check made payable to the clerk of the court. The balance will be due after 10 days also in the form of cash or cashiers check. Not very often, the owner will be able to hold off the foreclosure process in that 10 day period by filing for chapter 7, 9, 11, or 13. When that happens, the courts will refund you your money but it takes about 4-6 weeks. In NC, you also need 5% down on the day of the auction but now the 10 day period after the sale is open to anyone that wants to still put in an "upset bid". This process continues until a 10 day period goes by without anyone bidding again. Then the balance is due in the form of cash or cashiers check. All other mtg's are wiped clean in NC. The process is different from state to state. I would suggest you go to the courthouse and lookup the upcoming sales (they are posted somewhere just ask) and watch the process. Then, contact and pay an attorney for advice on how it works in the state you are in. I should say I have all but left the foeclosure business because of the volitility of the market. Be very careful, do your homework, and make sure you know what you are buying.

Health Insurance:
The term health insurance is generally used to describe a form of insurance that pays for medical expenses. It is sometimes used more broadly to include insurance covering disability or long-term nursing or custodial care needs. It may be provided through a government-sponsored social insurance program, or from private insurance companies. It may be purchased on a group basis (e.g., by a firm to cover its employees) or purchased by individual consumers. In each case, the covered groups or individuals pay premiums or taxes to help protect themselves from high or unexpected healthcare expenses. Similar benefits paying for medical expenses may also be provided through social welfare programs funded by the government.
Health insurance works by estimating the overall risk of healthcare expenses and developing a routine finance structure (such as a monthly premium or annual tax) that will ensure that money is available to pay for the healthcare benefits specified in the insurance agreement. The benefit is administered by a central organization, most often either a government agency or a private or not-for-profit entity operating a health plan.
A Health insurance policy is a contract between an insurance company and an individual. The contract can be renewable annually or monthly. The type and amount of health care costs that will be covered by the health plan are specified in advance, in the member contract or Evidence of Coverage booklet. The individual policy-holder's payment obligations may take several forms:
Premium: The amount the policy-holder pays to the health plan each month to purchase health coverage.
Deductible: The amount that the policy-holder must pay out-of-pocket before the health plan pays its share. For example, a policy-holder might have to pay a $500 deductible per year, before any of their health care is covered by the health plan. It may take several doctor's visits or prescription refills before the policy-holder reaches the deductible and the health plan starts to pay for care.
Copayment: The amount that the policy-holder must pay out of pocket before the health plan pays for a particular visit or service. For example, a policy-holder might pay a $45 copayment for a doctor's visit, or to obtain a prescription. A copayment must be paid each time a particular service is obtained.
Coinsurance: Instead of paying a fixed amount up front (a copayment), the policy-holder must pay a percentage of the total cost. For example, the member might have to pay 20% of the cost of a surgery, while the health plan pays the other 80%. Because there is no upper limit on coinsurance, the policy-holder can end up owing very little, or a significant amount, depending on the actual costs of the services they obtain.

US Mens Basketball wins gold in 2008 Olympics in beijing
In the final day of the 2008 Olympics, the US mens basketball defeated Spain 118-107 to get the gold. It was a close game with the US leading only by 4 points with 2 and a half minutes to go. The final score became lopsided when the Americans hit a bunch of free throws after the Spanish became frustrated and were called for the technicals.
This was not an easy game for the US because the Americans had won their first seven games by 30 points. They beat Spain by 37 points earlier in the tournament. Their price is the gold which they had in 2000 Olympics. Throughout the tournament the US who invented basketball compiled perfect 8-0 record. Dwayne Wade led the team with 27 points and 4 steals. Kobe Bryant finished with 20 points, 6 assists and 3 rebounds. For Spain Rudy Fernandez scored 22 points and Pau Gasol scored 21 points.

INSOMIA CURES!!!
Insomnia is the second most common complaint after pain. A 1984 report of the National Institutes of Mental Health indicated that 35 percent of the general population suffers from insomnia.
And the prevalence increases with an increase in age. Our lifestyle alone provides us today many constraints for proper and adequate sleep.
Insomnia is the most common sleep disorder to date.
Medical practitioners believe that insomnia can be a symptom of various underlying conditions, such as depression and anxiety. Prevalent as this condition maybe, many adults do not seek treatment from a physician.
Research on insomnia suggests that it has impaired human quality of life, performance and mood. It has dealt fatigue, irritability, lack of energy, and poor concentration including impaired memory.
Pharmacist Jo Barnes made a recent review of all herbal medicine widely studied for its aid to sleep. Barnes is a lecturer in phytopharmacy at the Center for Pharmacognosy and Phytotherapy at the School of Pharmacy in the University of London.
In her report, published on in The Pharmaceutical Journal (2002), she observed that research has mainly focused on the effects of valerian (Valeriana officinalis), with minor studies on hops (Humulus lupulus), passionflower (Passiflora incarnata), lemon balm (Melissa officinalis), lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and Jamaica dogwood (Piscidia erythrina) simply for their reputation as hyponotics.
Most of these herbs are also reputed to have sedative effect and have been used particularly for sleeping disorders of “nervous” types.
The parts of valerian used medicinally are the roots and rhizomes (underground stems). Strobiles (female flowers) are used in hops; herb (leafy aerial parts including flowers and fruits) in passionflower; leaves in lemon balm; flowers in lavender; and root or bark in Jamaican dogwood.

things to do in New York City- TRL TICKETS, BROADWAY TICKETS, TELEVISION SHOW TICKETS
New York City is one place you can spend a week in and find yourself wanting more. Here are some interesting things to do and see.
The least expensive way to get from the airport into NYC is using the SUper Shuttle. You should contact them and arrange pick up prior to leaving for New York:
http://www.supershuttle.com/htm/cities/nyc.htm
Take advantage of the New York City official website : http://www.nyc.gov Click on visitors information. You can find virtually any and all info on what to do in New York City on that website.
The Subway System in New York can get you virtually anywhere you want to go. Review the routs online, and ask for a map at any manned subway booth - it is really easy to get around if you use the maps. There are many buses in New York City as well, but the buses can seem exceedingly slow. Bus maps are available online as well.
A Metro Card will allow you to use the buses and subways. There are many types of cards available, as well as an unlimited one day pass. Read about them here: http://mta.info/metrocard/mcgtreng.htm#unlimited
There are two companies in New York City that offer Hop On Hop Off Double Decker Bus tours. These are tours where you can get on and off the buses as various locations to take advantage of sightseeing in many area of New York City.
City Sights NY: www.citysightsny.com Offers Downtown, Uptown & Night Tours.
Gray Line Bus Tours: http://www.coachusa.com/newyorksightseeing/ Offers uptown, downtown, Brooklyn, night tours and combination tours. On to the many classic "must sees" of New York:
The Empire State Building: http://www.esbny.com/index2.cfm Take advantage of the Sky Ride, a breathtaking view of New York City as seen through a helicopter.
The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island - http://www.circlelinedowntown.com/ Buy tickets online in advance to guarantee you will get in to visit the Statue. While tickets can be purchased at the Ferry itself, only a limited number of tickets are given out daily to visitors who want to access the inside of the Statue. If you purchase your tickets in advance, you will guarantee entrance to the Statue. Then take the ferry to Ellis Island for a tour of the place where millions of immigrants arrive in the U.S.
While you are on the website for tickets, you can also take a look at the Circle Line Ferry schedule for other areas - you can get a great "cruise" around Manhattan Island and see many interesting areas.
Take a look at Grand Central Station: http://www.grandcentralterminal.com/pages/default.aspx
New York is home to many interesting museums - I can personally recommend many of the Art Museums as well as the Museum of Television and Radio, the Intrepid Museum and the Museum of Natural History: http://www.amnh.org/ http://www.nyc.gov/portal/index.jsp?epi_menuItemID=5344998baa00eff6a62fa24601c789a0&epi_menuID=b89ffdd82b13aff6a62fa24601c789a0&epi_baseMenuID=27579af732d48f86a62fa24601c789a0
No trip to New York is complete without visiting Times Square for tickets to a show! In the middle of Times Square is the famous TKTS booth, where you can purchase half price tickets for shows the day of the show. Read about the TKTS booth here: http://www.tdf.org/tkts/
If you don't see the shows you like available at the TKTS booth (many of the most popular shows aren't available at the Booth) on the day of the show, got o the theater box office - unsold tickets may be available.
If you know in advance what you'd like to see, go to Broadway.com to see if tickets are available in advance of arriving in New York: http://www.broadway.com/
Don't forget off Broadway Shows as well - great family shows are "Stomp" and "The Blue Man Group".
Take a tour of the South Street Seaport. Take a subway to the Bronx Zoo or Yankee Stadium or Shea Stadium for a game. Don't miss Chinatown or Little Italy. Visit Soho. Go to Central Park, you can spend days there., There is also a small zoo in Central Park, the Central Park Zoo. Take a horse and buddy ride through and around the park.
Many talk shows are taped in New York City with free tickets available. Most of them you do need to request well in advance of your arrival, however, many shows have stand by lines detailed on their websites with info on how to obtain them. Here is a partial list of show tapings - you can go online and see if tickets are available for many (please note - some shows, such as The People's Court, don't tape in the summer):

Inside, Katie Couric and Matt Lauer tell the country what's going on; outside a crowd of people waves signs and hopes to get on television. The show airs Monday--Friday 7am--10am. If you want a good spot, get there pre-dawn, try to stand toward the southeast corner (directly behind the anchor desk) and carry a sign that says something goofy enough to be noticed.

New York City is home to two of the most famous toy stores in the world ?
FAO Schwarz, located at 767 Fifth Avenue (Fifth Avenue at 58th Street) New York, NY 10153 212-644-9400 ext. 4242 Hours: Mon - Sat: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sun: 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Take a Ferris Wheel ride in the largest Toys R Us in Times Square ? see their huge Lego display and the roaring dinosaur. Located at 44th and Broadway.
While you are in Time Square, have your picture taken with the Naked Cowboy, a sight you won?t soon forget. (P.S. ? He?s not naked but is in his undies even when it?s cold and he?s not a real cowboy either!)
Visit Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Times Square as well: http://www.nycwax.com/
As you can see, there is plenty to do on your visit to New York City.

The Today Show: The Today Show's studio is on the ground floor at the corner of 49th Street and Rockefeller Center.
The Early Show: The ground-level set, located in the General Motors Building at Trump International Plaza next to FAO Schwarz, is visible to passersby through huge glass windows. Join Dave Price on the plaza weekdays at 8 and 8:30 as he does the weather forecast. CBS News also films other national and local news broadcasts here. Early Show audience services: 212/975-7636.
Who Wants to be a Millionaire: http://www.millionairetv.com/tickets.html
Total Request Live: (1550 Broadway, bet. 44th and 45th Sts., 212/258-8000) -- Young visitors gather at 3:30pm weekdays outside MTV's studios hoping to catch a glimpse of Total Request Live host Carson Daly. Although part of the studio faces the street, it's on the second floor, so street-level fans can't see too much. Young adults between the ages of 18 and 24 who want to be part of the studio audience can call the TRL audience hotline at 212/398-8549 or try for standby tickets starting at 2pm by lining up at 44th St. and Broadway.
Emeril Live: A ticket lottery is held at least once a year. Emeril Live will notify fans of entry dates through the Food Network newletter and on www.foodnetwork.com

$500,00 from a car accident. Personal Injury lawsuit - A Microsoft employee got $500,000 for a car accident
A personal injury occurs when a person has suffered some form of injury, either physical or psychological, as the result of an accident or medical malpractice.
The most common type of personal injury claims are road traffic accidents, accidents at work, tripping accidents, assault claims, accidents in the home, defective product accidents and holiday accidents. Indeed, there are a multitude of types of accident and the term personal injury also incorporates medical and dental accidents (which lead to numerous medical and dental negligence claims every year) and conditions which are often classified as industrial disease cases. Industrial disease type cases include asbestosis and mesothelioma, chest diseases (e.g. emphysema, pneumoconiosis, silicosis, chronic bronchitis, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and chronic obstructive airways disease), vibration white finger, occupational deafness, occupational stress, contact dermititus, and repetitive strain injury cases.
Where the accident was the fault of someone else, the injured party may be entitled to monetary compensation from the person whose negligent conduct caused the injury. At least in the United States this system is complex and controversial with critics calling for various forms of tort reform. Attorneys often represent clients on a "contigency basis," in which the attorney does not charge for services until the case is resolved.
• This case was in Seattle. A woman recovered $500,000 as a total settlement after a car accident. As an employee at Microsoft with a stellar record, she was forced to miss about one year of work off and on over 4 years. Given that she was a wage earner, the insurer agreed to pay $500,000 to settle the case.
